Coordinated Responses

JMICC has coordinated for responses against a total of 494 COIs in various domains which includes 216 SAR operations resulting in saving 1844 precious lives and recovery of 200 dead bodies.

Joint Maritime Information System (JMIS) software enables virtual linkage of JMICC with both national and international stakeholders by medium of web. The Software is able to collect, analyze, evaluate, display and disseminate a seamless, fully integrated and tailorable Common Operating Picture (COP).

Regular interaction with Maritime Industry

The centre regularly interacts with organizations from diverse maritime industry and monitors national shipping carriers in conjunction with PNSC.

Launching of AAAS Application

AAAS (Assistance Anytime Anywhere At Sea) is an online application to facilitate maritime communities operating in Pakistan's territorial water. User can send emergency message (SOS) and location for immediate assistance anytime, anywhere within the territorial waters of Pakistan

Launching of Toll free helpline

JMICC has launched toll free helpline for the seafarers which is manned 24/7. Any maritime incident can be reported or help required can be sought by dialing 1096 from any national mobile network.
